Edited Photo from White House: Hasidic Paper Breaks Rule

Original Photo by Pete Souza
Edited Photo on the Hasidic newspaper
This photo was taken inside White House Situation Room during narration of Osama Bin Laden's raid at his compound.  President Obama together with CIA director Leon Panetta and other US national security team and two women Hillary and Audrey Tomason, the national director of counterterrorism.

On the next photo, you can noticed that Hillary and the other girl at the back vanished.  This was the a publication from Hasidic newspaper.  But why is it that they photoshopped the two images?  Why they alter the original photograph?

"In accord with our religious beliefs, we do not publish photos of women, which in no way relegates them to a lower status... Because of laws of modesty, we are not allowed to publish pictures of women, and we regret if this gives an impression of disparaging to women, which is certainly never our intention. We apologize if this was seen as offensive." from editor of Der Tzitung.
